Welcome to the Warwickshire Section of the VMCC. We are a sociable group of like-minded people with an interest in 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles that are over 25 years old.

VMCC Warwickshire Section Monthly notes, April 2021

Consultation Outcome and 90 days plan
As we come out of lock down, hopefully for the last time, we can look forward to getting back on the bikes. This months journal may reach you in time to help celebrate the 75th anniversary.
Please keep an eye on the website and your emails for news of section events which should be starting to take place. At the risk of repeating myself there are still some members in our area who are not on our email list and who I can not contact by text messaging to request an email address.
It is possible that we may be back at the Kenilworth Rugby Club in June so keep in touch!
Our news letter is still going strong and may continue even when things are back to normal.
Don’t forget to check your tyre pressures before you ride, mine were way down before my first run a couple of weeks ago.

End to End

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and in line with government guidelines, we are currently unable to meet every month at our usual indoor venue and so we are organising a number of pop-up meetings, outdoors at cafes around the County. If you would like to be informed of our next pop-up meeting then simply email our secretary, Barry Heath – b4heath@yahoo.co.uk

Photographs from our pop-up meetings can be found on the Events Reports 2020 page of the website.
We produced a weekly newsletter throughout the lockdown period but have now moved to publishing a monthly newsletter, in order to keep in touch with those members who do not wish to travel to the meetings. We would love to see more articles from our members in the newsletter and so anyone who wishes to submit a piece should contact Barry. Likewise anyone currently not receiving the newsletter can request to join the email list.

Our prestigious annual event, the Coventry Parade, was cancelled this year, along with so many other great VMCC events. However, we decided to have a virtual and light-hearted event instead, where entries included actual motorcycles owned by the entrant and those we wish we owned. To see the 2020 programme just click on the Events Reports 2020 page.
