KENILWORTH RUN 2019
This years run started as usual from the Hatton Layby, with a total of 8 motorcycles taking part. Simon's 1927 AJS 350 was the oldest bike on the run, while both Brenda and Ted were on their respective 1980 Honda Benly's. We welcomed Martin on his Honda CB550 too, taking part in only his second ever Section run.
The route led us through the beautiful Warwickshire country lanes to Kenilworth, and then past Kenilworth Castle towards Burton Green, onward through Balsall Common and then through the quieter back lanes to Baddesley Clinton, Lapworth, Wootton Wawen and Lowsenford.
Finally we rode through Shrewley to the Five Ways roundabout and the run ended at The Tipperary Inn. Thanks to Malcolm Griffin for organising the run, and thanks to everyone who took part in the run - hope your riding gear has dried out by now!
