Visit to Galanos House 15 December 2019
We are asked annually by the Royal British Legion Rugby Branch Bikers Sections to contribute toiletries to be taken to Galanos House Care Home near Southam. 
A collection of items were accumulated by club members, included a massive carrier bag full donated by a ‘low profile’ member, Andy Smith.
I met up with section members Alan Bailey and Eddie Workman at the Long Itch Diner where about 2dozen bikes and scooters from other clubs were also gathering.
At 1 45 we set off in convoy for the short ride to The British Legion sponsored home where we were greeted by staff and residents. After we had dropped off our collective mountain of all manner of products, we enjoyed hot drinks and mince pies whilst chatting to the mainly elderly residents.
After a brief tour of the very homely facilities we left after a very worthwhile visit.
