Over the years the weather has been kind to us at the Blue Lias for this event and this year was no exception with wall to wall sunshine that brought out the usual high number of bikes and riders with many interested visitors admiring the bikes. 37 people signed on with 31 bikes on show ranging from Richard Woodcock’s veteran Rex to David Sketchley’s 1982 Honda Turbo with an eclectic mix of British and foreign machines in between, including three vintage and a god number of girder fork machines alongside Japanese and Italian marks.
It seemed a shame to go inside for the buffet but when we got there it was well worth it, following the buffet everyone went back outside to admire the bikes and chat.
A good night was had by all.
