A report by David Kendall on The Race Retro Show February 26th to 28th.
Considering that the organisers of Race Retro were being "frugal" with the supply of tickets this time, we still managed to fill out the VMCC Warwickshire Stand with an impressive collection of bikes.
This year, both the Norton Owners Club and the National Motorcycle Museum each had a fine collection of machines on display too. This year's star guest was ex-world champion Damon Hill, along with a collection of four Williams F1 cars.
Our VMCC Stand had a varied collection of bikes on display - a Benelli 6 cylinder 750, an early 500 Suzuki, a vintage Triumph, a vintage Ariel and a Triton Cafe Racer.
Many thanks to members who came along and supported us on the Stand over the whole weekend, and special thanks to members who brought along machines for the display - David Payne, Alan Bailey, Rob Payne, Dave Sketchley and Tony Hart. The VMCC Stand wouldn't be possible without your time and effort. Thank you.
Our thanks go to David Kendall for organising the stand and Alan Bailey for the photos.
