The Kenilworth Run 7th June 2015

The weather was booked in advance for the Kenilworth and it did not let us down this time, twenty two riders set off around the route on a good selection of bikes, including five vintage machines, the route took us along some very challenging lanes with potholes and mud up the middle to wide open roads. The route took us through some small villages to the north of Warwick, Norton Lindsey, Baddersley Clinton, Temple Balsall , Berkswell and on to the finish at the Tipperary Inn at Honiley. This year we only had one casualty (Frank Parker) who managed to succumb to one of the aforementioned potholes on a junction and once again managed to fall off, albeit at very low speed but bounced well and the bike landed in the hedge, the only thing damaged was his pride and he continued on to the end of the run.
This was Dave and Robs last time for organising this run and they would like to thank everyone who have supported them on the runs.
We would like to thank Dave and Rob for organising a number of Kenilworth Runs and hope someone will come forward to take the event on, we would also like to thank to landlord and his staff for a warm welcome at the Tipperary Inn.
