Social Run to the Antelope at Lighthorne
After discussions with other committee members I thought we might try to shorten the winter lay up with an extra social run .I have been past The Antelope at Lighthorne many times but never called in. It seemed a likely venue for a meet so I popped in to ask if we could hold a social there, the answer was yes.
The planning was worth it as thirteen bikes and Harry Wile’s BSA three wheeler attended. The bikes included Steve Bradwick’s ever improving Tribsa, Dave Paynes H1 Triumph and Simon and Mark Dudfield’s matching vintage AJS’s.
There were also classic Royal Enfield, Triumph, Norton, Matchless, Zundapp and Honda marques, plus two modern BMW’s.
The weather stayed dry and everyone enjoyed a good day out. ....... Simon Dudfield
