Boxing Day Run 2011
Following three years of snow and ice boxing day this year turned out sunny and unseasonably warm.
17 riders signed on at the start and were treated to a 25 route along pleasant country roads finishing at the Green Man Long Itchington where they were greeted with hot soup and sandwiches courtesy of mine hosts.
A couple of members went straight to the Green Man including Neil Levings on his newly restored 1920 Triumph. A good time was had by all.
Our congratulations and thanks go to Bob Taylor for organising his first run, we broke him in gently as he used a route set out by Alan Bailey so thanks to Alan.
Thanks also to our hosts at the Green Man, Mark and Sharon.
